Modern Solid Oak Tallboy
This modern solid oak tallboy was a client’s own commission, and was destined to be the prized possession of a vibrant and imaginative little girl. After sanding back the yellowing varnish to reveal light, fresh oak, the exterior was completely transformed using duck egg blue and a double-layered bespoke stencil in a leopard print design. Each spot was lovingly hand-stencilled in two different custom-mixed colours, before new rose gold hardware was added, copper detailing was applied, and finally new pink and gold geometric drawer linings which both compliment and contrast.
