Compact Mid-Century Bureau
This compact mid-century bureau was a client’s own commission, left to her by her mother but in need of a fresh new look to go with her home renovations. Embracing the 70’s vibe, this totally unique custom-taped design was carefully applied in a combination of deep navy, punchy burnt orange and bright gold, which all work beautifully alongside the freshly sanded-back teak. Inside, the contrasting orange takes over with the addition of striking birds of paradise-themed paper, plus a bespoke stencilled panel showing palm fronds in gold.
